SAP - How to use same user ID to multiple SAP sessions for same SAP system

It is usual for SAP professionals to logon to SAP systems with other's credentials.

In such cases, If the user is already logged in a session, You will not be able to login in new session.
You will need to terminate other session if you want to continue.

Usually this approach is very much helpful to logon to production systems where not all the team members have access to production system.

There is trick to login with same credentials in multiple sessions using SM59 transaction tcode.

You can this tcode - SM59

You will be needed to create a remote connection for the first time if the connection is not created already by someone.

You can supply host name and port details to create a connection.

    1. Go to SM59 tcode.

    2. Search for the connection (you can use *SID* and find if you are not able to see)

    3. If found; Double click on the connection. and login.

    4. If not found; Create a new connection

Multiple users can logon to same system with same credentials at the same time.
